Work on the new Outpatient Department (OPD) in Chafulu is almost finished, and local residents can look forward to having better access to healthcare close to home.
The building itself is complete, and the remaining work includes installing windows, painting, and drilling a borehole that will supply water to the facility. Once that is done, furniture will be brought in, and the OPD will be ready to welcome patients.
The project is being carried out by local contractors under the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Once operational, the OPD will provide essential health services, including maternal and child care, treatment for common illnesses, and faster emergency response.
Chadiza Town Council remains committed to delivering projects that improve the lives of our people, and the Chafulu OPD is a strong example of that commitment.
