A team from Chadiza Town Council, led by Council Director of Engineering Eng. Munaye Samapimbi, yesterday conducted a site visit with contractors to the Mukumbudzi Bridge location in Ambizi ward.
The physical inspection allowed contractors to assess the existing conditions, terrain, access points, and potential challenges of the project site. This crucial step enables contractors to accurately plan their construction methods and estimate costs based on the actual site details before submitting their bids.
The bridge construction project will be funded by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and supervised by Chadiza Town Council.
The site visit ensures that even as contractors prepare their bids, they have a comprehensive understanding of the project’s scope and requirements, including where to source materials for the construction work.
